Chico, California, January 21, 2016 (Newswire.com) - After months of development and testing, privacy advocates Anonabox began shipping out its new devices this week. The three new devices (PRO, Tunneler and Fawkes) strengthen the Anonabox lineup with a number of upgrades and innovative features.

• The PRO: This top-of-the-line device offers the choice of VPN encryption or the Tor network for the most robust security and privacy. USB filesharing, easy access to the Deep Web, WiFi uplink and range extender, admin interface.
• The Tunneler: VPN encryption is added to this password-protected router, for added security and privacy. It also features admin interface, WiFi uplink and range extender and easy access to the Deep Web.
• The Fawkes: This password-protected Tor router offers easy access to the Deep Web, admin interface and WiFi uplink and range extender.

All four devices can be purchased at the Anonabox website, as well as Amazon, NewEgg and Rakuten. Additionally, Anonabox’s partnership with Ingram Micro paves the way for the routers to reach retail locations in the near future.

Anonabox has also reached an agreement with an additional VPN provider, in order to give the device’s end user options. Details on that partnership will be announced shortly.

Earlier this week, Anonabox launched an Indiegogo campaign, benefiting legendary hacker and “phone phreaker” John Draper as he writes his autobiography. Backers can purchase items like the limited edition blue Anonabox PRO, a functional blue whistle that doubles as a USB drive or signed Draper memorabilia. Additional proceeds will go toward the Tor Project, as Draper’s request.
